Yellow Aircraft F-16C Build Log

Hello Gang,
This is a video build log of the Yellow Aircraft F-16C. This is a cross between a "how-to" and "this is how I'm doing it" format. I'm by no means a master builder and make no claims as such. I'm simply building a kit that I've wanted since childhood and sharing my "adventure." In the spirit of "B1-Bob," lets keep the drama out of the shop. I look forward to your input and hope I can learn just as much from you as I might be teaching someone out there. Enjoy!

Thanks guys. Just let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see. One of the things that prompted me to do this is when I was researching this kit the resources were limited. I really appreciated the build threads on this and other forums. I feel that the more resources the better, and I definitely learn better from video. Some things that have evolved and that I'm working on:

--I've limited the step numbering... I've started titling each segment within each video with a general description of the next step
--I'm trying to film the actual process of the step... It is tough because I'm on my own and don't have a fully functional tripod. My earlier videos depicted each step AFTER it was completed.
--I'm trying to get at least one video a week out.

I bought a tripod and WalMart several years ago for like 20 bucks I think, but it wasn't all that tall. Used it once I think and in the truck it sat and now there's a screw missing, but that's my luck!

Thanks for the vids. And don't use Deans plugs if you're pulling over 90 amps, they get hot and might fail. I saw a yellow F-16 go deadstick on the maiden flight at CA jets a couple of years ago and it ended up landing really hard and getting ripped up bad. Using the ETurbax which pulls well over 100 amps if it's using the 1521 1.5Y on 10S.

Good luck!

Looking great! Its a real easy plane to build. I am glad you are showing how easy it is to do the glass work because it scares allot of people away from these kits and into ARFs. But its real easy to do.

I disagree Ed about the deans. Every BVM plane out their including mine uses deans and pulls over 100 amps with no problems. But this argument will never end.

Try and do panel lines on the wings they make a huge difference and dont take to long to add at the end.
