Nice looking plane, I was able to maiden mine a few days ago. This is my first low wing plane, but had no problems. Landing seemed a little fast, just something I am not use to. Fun plane to fly, think I may cut in some flaps. My landing area seems to shrink with this plane

Glad to hear it went well Doug. The more you fly it the slower you'll be able to land it. Just like in the video it stays nice and stable at slow speeds.

I agree, it's the perfect motor for this plane.

Lear31A. What size battery and prop are you running?

I am using a 2200mah 3S and a 3000mah 3S. Prop is an 11/8. I also have a 4cell that is just waaay too much power for this airplane.

I can't imagine you get much flight time on the 2200 with the 11x8 prop? I'm only getting about 5 minutes on that pack with a 10x7 so I have some 2650, 3s coming.

first flight went well we had 10 mph winds but the plane didnt even show that there was wind. landings are easy i can cut power 100 yards away and just glide it in for a nice slow and easy landing it felt like i was on a trainer plane again. also im using the rimfire motor with 2200mah 11.1v and getting easy 8-10 min flights on a 10x7 prop. i have video ill post it up later this weekend i also have a e-flite rv-9 that i fly and i would have to say that the cirrus is easier to fly i think
