Electrifly Cirrus SR22 Turbo ARF

I stumbled on this looking up some info on the Super Sportster.
I think Ultrifly had this model at one point. This one looks very scale.

Hi,

Looks nice and is a good size. Hobby People had one recently (I think is was the Ultrafly) I checked one out up close and was impressed. If the price is reasonable, I'm in.

Really good looking bird and at a great size for a lot of people that have the parts to just swap in it already. Surprised this isn't getting more attention!

Well, here, at 4 minutes after a manufacturer's website adds an item, we are usually on page 3 by then.

My LHS said it would be about 170$ CAD to bring one in. Not bad considering the $149.99 US price tag plus shipping to Canada that I would incur trying to do it online myself.

Might have to add this to my "summer budget".

I came across this one last night. I have been looking for a 48" or larger, tricycle, scale, general aviation plane that would fly on my 3S 2200mAh LiPo's. This one looks really nice. I really like the finished cockpit with seats and instrument panel.

Anybody flying one and/or have any motor and prop ideas? I was looking at the Turnigy 35-30 or the 35-36 around 1100-1400kv with 9 to 10 inch prop. From the pictures on the internet it looks like there is room for the 35-36 extra length. The wing loading is a little higher than I would hope for but that would just mean a little faster flyer and better able to handle some wind.

Thoughts, opinions? I have done lots of searches and there is very little available from anyone about this plane.

Fred, it's pretty new - my LHS said it's back ordered until late July, so my guess is that few have this "in hand" yet.

Wow, just released and not yet available anywhere. No wonder I didn't find it sooner. It looks to be very scale. See attached pic of a real Cirrus SR22 with the model. Even the seat position and the instrument panel position look the same. Landing gear on the model are a little longer than on the real aircraft.

Wow that is pretty close! Clearly gonna be getting a silver spinner and 3-blade prop to get as scale as I can.

Nice catch on the comparable side by side photos.

I think I need one!
This is what the GP Lancair should have been: aluminum LG, brushless outrunner, slightly larger.

I picked the last one up at Mike's in Dallas. Kit looks superb. Got all the extra goodies too except went with Hitec 65's and castle TB 54 for the ESC. I was actually looking at the new PZ Extra 300 but I already have an EFlite Extra 260. Thought the PZ would be redundant so I went for the Cirrus. I've looked at the full scale for years but just can't justify it compared to me plane. This kit is a real keeper!
