Yep, I am using the stock motor that comes on the ones from Nitroplanes. I have found the one that comes from Hobbyking.com have a slightly different motor installed. Not sure of that motor.

I am running a APC 11x5.5 prop fitted on a Du-Bro 2" spinner.

Here is a video of the Stock motor with 2bladed prop on the stock 1800mAh battery.

Nice little diverse family you got there, I like how you slipped in "good working condition" at the end. What's the big high wing to the back and left of the 400, looks huge?

The big one is a 65" Cessna 182, converted to electric.
If I remember correctly this is its second flight after the conversion:

CMPCessna182.m4v (1 min 40 sec)

That yellow Cub at the end is mine too, but it is not in "good working condition" right now... I think it wants to retire.

Real sound

Does anyone know if they make a soundboard that imitates a gas engine that can be installed in an electric plane. I want the sound of a nitro but not the mess and cleanup that comes with it.

I am the opposite - I don't like the sound of a gas engine... Maybe because I am getting old

But no, I never heard of anything like that.

You can put an insane amount of power (electric) to the prop, it will make a lot of noise

I probably need a couple more years of experience before I start tinkering with something that fast!

It seems like it was yesterday my daughter was a cute little baby, but this May she is turning 18... and my son is not far behind... where did the time go?

And I also remember how difficult it was to spare some time for my hobbies..

Oh well..
