assuming interference that was the first flight with ezosd on the slipstream, I did the 2nd flight tonight it did the same, then I moved the gps into a different position (its on an extension) and it seemed almost there but still had its odd moments, further testing to be done!

Yo mrholozip, your FJ arrived yet, cant wait to see that with 1500+ watts in it

I was testing a 1350kv motor on the slipstream a few weeks back, it only did about 40mph top whack, so had to fly around at WOT this is the video

Hey Ben - yep FunJet landed yesterday afternoon, need to get myself some Elapor safe glue and I'm all set

Fingers crossed the the BL32 motor doesn't pull the airframe apart like it did to my Slipstream.

Can't wait to get it in the air - maiden this weekend if the weather holds up!

Normal ca glue should be fine I have built 1400watt funjets with it. I'm gonna sell the slipstream and get a fj ultra, I need a couple of 5s lipos for the alulah so I'm going to get some around 3000/3300 and use them in the new fj too I also have a load of 4s 3300 already .... Should be fun!

Hey Guys!

I know, I know I've been absent for a while... cos I've been so busy travelling and flying!

I entered my video Empire on the RiteWing Zephyr II Contest and it would be great if you could help me bring this one to the UK!

I really appreciate it

Looks like a big bird nick. Good luck hand launching it. Gonna wait for initial feedback before ordering one. But if I get one it's getting electric retracts :P. anyone tempted to do a little conversion? Get shot of the winglets, two 90mm edf's and you've got a Horten Ho229! Drag rudders would be good on this. Keep the yaw in check.

If I had a nice flat grass strip to fly from like you it would defo be getting retracts.
but no way I would lose the winglets they are way to sexy

Lol fair enough, I'd defo go for a drag rudder setup and lop them off, whack in a gyro to keep things on track in less than stella conditions -is now looking at giantcod's 90mm lander EDF's- uh oh what have I started :P, keep us posted nick.

Shouldn't need a bungy with the 1200W (6S) motor I am putting in it! If it isn't climbing vertical it does not worth having!

If 1200W isn't enough the motor can do 2000W with 10S packs. Or I could test 8S first as I already have 2x 4S packs.
