Mate, I'm a follower of Sir Bruce of Tokoroa.

Two things to take away from this one:-
"The removal of our rights and the selling of them back to us as a privilege".
"Aviation is not a crime."

Actually , make that three:-
"It's all about control. It's not about safety."

I'm joining the 250g anachist's club next year.
No need for hate. Fly safe

All so true.
But I intend to have one foot in each camp.
Have two Dart 250g on order and just shat a lot of money on a mini mavic 1.84 a gram
Now I can go fly on the moors or on the beach. Provide I adhere to the golden rules.
And I'll still attempt to do a little bit fo quad racing/crashing. and will still look to do some proper FPVing next year

Still no one has given me a good reason to register

Hmm - what if we each fly ten at the same time, in very close formation?

Just as an fyi from June you will need to register at any weight if it has a recording camera -i.e the mavic mini...

I'll be tempted by one if they ever add goggles support.

LOL.. Ok that's getting really silly now.
So, when I buy an eachine or a hubsan toy for my little nephew for his birthday, we'll have to register it, me and him. Carrots 100! (You'll probably know what I mean but you can always ask Alexa to translate it )

GDPR: You have the right to be forgotten.
I.E. You can write to them and ask them to: (A) Tell you what info they have on you. (B) tell them that you want it deleted.
If they refuse to delete it, they have to justify why they are keeping it and how long they are keeping it for. If you don't like their answer you can go for an adjudication.
