I do the same, sand and vapour smooth, but just feel the top could be better.
I like the finish you get with it and its seems stronger.
Re the mavic, don't know if to get the recommended Black Widow 2208 1200 kv motors from HK global or 1900kv from UK.

1200 for sure. The props are 8".

Wayne did you print the Mavic on your mini kossel?
Looks like I will have to split the middle part and try to join it when printed

Yes, there is a thread by me requesting a split, the files are there and work well. I popped him a small donation for his efforts.

It's coming on, still got parts coming....

Looking good Wayne.
Do you have any spare ball clip things you want to sell?
Seems the guy on ebay is out of them. May have to get them from abroad.

Gents - does anyone know of a quad racing club / circuit in or as close to being in Birmingham as possible? I have an old work mate that wants to return to RC flying but wants to give the racing a go in an organised fashion. If not, are there any clubs in the same area that could help out?

cheers

Just spent an hour hunting for my QX90c. Not suitable for strong winds, and I've ordered a buzzer!
