Originally it had a longer nose and a motor out back but the plan form didnt like it much and getting the cofg right was a nightmare (thats the trouble with no sweep in the wing).

Talking of adhesives used..... what would anyone recomend for holding 'blind' or 'captive' nylon 6mm nuts to Elapor on the Twin*? Hotglue? CA? I have this crazy idea for portableness and a stack of nylon fixings from the stash of materials Ibought for the tri project.

And I promise to post some pics of my kit this week so you know I am trying to get in the air ;-x

i use CA on all my muliplex models works great and can bridge gaps if you use thick ca with kicker. looks like a good flying day get out there guys lol

Looked out the windoiw earier and it looked calm and dry for the first time in 2 weeks. Has since started raining though

Wasn`t happy with my power output from the bog standard 6x4 prop or a 6x5 so i decided to mod my new EZ the other day, maiden today, the weathers looking good







Its now sporting a Keda 2813 - 1920kv outrunner and 8x8.38 prop

Performance is looking pretty good

WOT = 39 Amps 439 Watts. Half throttle 10.1 Amps 128 Watts 39oz of thrust

Problem is is too much for the motor at WOT so ive limited it to 90% so its putting out 370 wats instead

FWIW - I run 8" props on my EZ* with the motor in the standard place, but I cut away a section of the fuse and brace the section below the cut.

Yeah i wanted the flexibility to get larger prop on if needed and didnt want to weaken the fuse or spoil the look.

How do you find it ? Had another member round today, by the time i got finished it was nearly dark so ill have to maiden tomorrow instead

What does everyone use for editing the MP4 videos that come off of the go pro HD?
I've just bought a hero HD but haven't got anything that will edit the videos from it!

I usually use windows movie maker, but it doesn't support MP4 so now I'm stuck.

Yeah, i know how you feel, i forked out 50 notes for Soney Vegas from PC World, but if you're gonna get that see if you can get version 10 as v9 like what ive got only allows a max of a 2gb file to be loaded into it. it's really anoying.

CyberLink PowerDirector Ultra 8.00 Build 2508 works very well with mp4s. Google it
