It's that a 1.1 or 2 Bixler?

I've found my #16 very reliable so far.

Early reports say that it's a no go for either #16 or #18. Big time delay on video out. And unless you've wired up aux power on the plane, should the crummy built in lipo go flat you loose video.

I've been looking at the #18 with AV out, and the 15cm extension, great for something small

Micro cam arrived from Foxtech today but I don't think it can go in the cockpit unless I cut the "glass" away and the picture isn't brilliant anyway
That rocks

I bought one of these just before Xmas.

It's a re-badged Atten (or Hakko).
It's brilliant! It has three user preset temperatures and heats up in 30 seconds.
It solders 12 AWG wire into XT60 plug no problem.

Spare bits are available on Ebay: search for Hakko 900 bits

Own factory?! Of Bixlers?! ha

1st Bixler was 2nd hand, been crashed badly, so repaired, flown, then sold for a wing.
2nd Bixler was off a mate, that went walkies when the GoPro failed on me
3rd Bixler (current on) to replace the 2nd, because they are easy to fly, still fun to fly without being boring, cheap, easily adaptable and is a test model for when I get the Skywalker up and flying =]

just bought a fatshark 100mw 5.8g transmitter, it gets red hot after 2 or 3 minutes on a 3cell lipo and cuts out, seems to stay on at 9volt. is this normal with immersion stuff or is this faulty ?
