This is abit of a noob question as i've only ever flown with 3000mah flight and 500mah camera, but when running 2 x 2200 lipos, I guess they are run in series, so in essence creating 4400 mah?
And this powers the flight and the camera/vtx etc?

Cheers =]

No. Series will give you the same current both both the voltages added together. In order to double the amperage you need to parallel the batteries.

i.e 2x 3300mah 3s1p series'd together would give a 22.2v 3300mah battery. Paralleled would give a 11.1v 6600mah battery.

I am looking for a decent 2.4Ghz vTx that can be used with an immersionRC duo 2400 (feel free to recommend another diversity video Rx).

So far, I have been told that lawmate have issues with returns so some firms have stopped stocking them.
There are the vTx at hobbyking, but i am not convinced of the quality.
I hear good things about the Boscam - but the cheap dipole antenna is glued on!

I need a minimum of 500mW as I expect that to give decent range as I will be using a 11db gain helical antenna on an AAT.

Please don't suggest other freq. to use as I have decided my complete setup and 2.4GHz vTx from multi->ground is what i need.

So, any recommendations gents?

Cheers

ice.

YAY! printer got upgraded today. I can now go down to 0.15mm resolution! (whereas previously I could only go down to 0.2mm) so once again, It has the finest resolution of any sub 9000 additive extrusion type printer! I suspect no one cares (or even knows what im on about) but im happy as all heck and had to tell someone, the missus just says "thats nice dear" :P

Haha I get that off the missus too!
Eesh!

Im guessing the resolution is how fine you can print?

Yeah, basically it's printed in layers, like an ink jet printer, it'll print one layer, but instead of spitting it out and grabbing a new sheet of paper, it moves the print space down and does another layer. Imagine the resolution like little cubes that build the piece up (like tiny Lego bricks) that are 0.15mm along each side.

@ Wayne, I'm a certified combustion, electrical, microelectronic, physics and chemical engineer with an RC plane hobby, an Xbox 360, a Wii (though that is the Missus), a Playstation 3 and a 3D printer, I challenge you to find a bigger geek!

Get the boscam, get some pliers or a Newton dispenser (hammer) and remove the antenna to fit a good one (inverted Vee/cloverleaf/Huge windmill) .

A bit of sanding of RCM's reaper dome and it would be near as damn perfect! All geared up to do the belly drop P&T mount now, oh and in answer to Mudlarks suggestion of counter weighting, there just isn't the space, and I'd rather not add the weight, so ill do the only thing you can do in the absence of a counter weight, it will be counter sprung :P. Also the drop down hinge mechanism will overlock in both directions to save on servo stress.
