Fixed wings can be Drones too!

Lol, I am capable of building the ting myself, it's more that I need an extra pair of hands to join the toe fuse halves as there is lots of surface to glue and line up. Being as RCM is considering an X8 too I figured he'd benefit from seeing how the build goes (learning from my mistakes and doing a better job himself no doubt).

I'll be up the field from 2pm tomorrow as I have the girls in the morning. Should be able to make Sunday too.

I like it but how much??
Probably cheaper to fit a KK board or some thing where it can all be adjusted to suit.

Howdy Guys!

Anytips on flying a KKQuad FPV? I been flying for years but because it has no auto-stable its making it a bit harder than normal! This is my first quad too!

I am using a small 7inch portable dvd screen for now!

Brand New Cularis for sale:)

Well, my eBay garage sale went very well except the guy that won the Cularis, didn't read the ad, claiming it included the motor etc etc

Anyway, if anyone is interested, have a peak at the realist:

Take it easy, watch your altitude. Remember to not hold a control input. Because you need to counter it to recenter. And a constant forward movement will help with plane-quad transition. Oh and don't panic.

Well that was an epic days flying with the "brown squadron". I've probibally recovered various planes about 12 times. Got attacked by a charging Hurd of cows after vaillantly rescuing Wayne's wing, caught my leg on barbed wire and smashed my knee. FPV Maidened my printed quad. And left the field to see the biggest bonfire going. A stack of hay bales (the big round ones) about 10x10 bales. In a pyramid 4 layers high, unfortunately completely ablaze. What a day!
