Has anyone built this kit or know anything about it? Can't seem to find much info on the net.

How does it build? Is it pretty straight forward, or is a big pain? Does it look pretty realistic, or "cheesy"?

The company is not out of business, they just stopped making "paper" R/C airplanes because the market wasn't conducive enough. The company's main product is...paper. And, of course, paper is not a commodity -- or should I say luxury -- like model airplanes, but a necessity.

Jerry Holcome of Vancouver, Washington, did the S&EM review. His handle in the Discussion Group is AirJer, although he doesn't post very much. Find one of his posts and send him an internal e-mail about the construction and he could certainly fill you in some more.

Philipp Gardemin, editor of Aufwind Magazine in Germany, also had one at Aspach 2001, and it's in my past review (check the E Zone Archives).

I read in a German review some time ago that you should not try to fly it in the rain ...

They had a Mini that sold for $49 and was a great flyer. It would take quite a bashing and still fly. I still ahve 2 of their kits, the Baby and a Super Cub. Alot of gluing and clamping and far heavier than other methods, so electric better be brushless.

OK guy's, there seems to be some interest in this dude so I'll fill you in. I saw this on e-bay, and could not resist. It is indeed a "cardboard" plane. It's cut from thin cardboard with all the "finish" laminated on in some sort of thin plastic material. Actually looks pretty good. The specs claim a 12.2 lb weight. I have included several pics so you can see what it looks like. Not sure what to power it with. Recommends 3, speed 600 or 700 motors. I could use a few suggestions on power set-up, if anybody has an idea. Wing span is 87", area is 973 squares which is about a 29oz wing loading at 12 lbs, and about 33oz at 14lbs.
