Ooooh! Oooooh! Oooooh! Mr. Cotter! Mr. Cottaaaaire!

What is it, Horshack?

A single cell *can't* be balanced, or is it *always* balanced?

You're unbalanced, Horshack. And that's Mr. Kotter to you...and as Vinnie says, "Up your nose with a rubber hose!"

Yeah, I tape my batteries in too. But in the area your paint was removed, I first put down squares of packing tape. So now I stick tape to tape to retain the batteries...paint still yellow.

Still, the clear tape sticks too well to the battery. Maybe I'll try your blue tape instead.

lol...blue tape is good...my 3 year old crashed my Champ...yes, I handed him the controls...and the tape held...it lods all day. I usually put on new tape before I go flying the next day...but I have used it over and over.

Video: HZ Champ w/Solo Pro Motor/043/Hyp 180 - vertical, aerobatics, outside loop

The P-51 motor I put in the Champ started to die at the indoor-fly last night. Not even an hour of time on the thing, and I even broke it in easy on the 5030. So.....I just swapped it for the SP motor I got from RC. After a couple of flights, brought it back inside to check the RPM @ room temp. As usual, a freshly-charged Hyp 180 cell was used for the test, and natural light was used to prevent erroneous tach readings.

HZ Champ: SP motor/GWS 5043/Hyp 180

30 sec: 6700 RPM

60 sec: 6480 RPM

Flight conditions:

Alt: 910' AMSL
Temp: +16 F
Wind: 0-2 MPH

The flight below used 90 mAh, or 50% of the charge.

Performance demo: HobbyZone Champ w/SP motor/GWS 5043/Hyp 180 - vertical, aerobatics, outside loop! (6 min 50 sec)

808 keychain cam

I know this really isn't the right forum, but I do know some of you guys have this cam.

My question is, are any of you into r/c boating? And have mounted the 808 cam to a r/c boat? If so, do you have a video?

thanks

Well kudos to Horizon again, they've never left me down. Just got an email that they are going to send me a new tx.

Off to see if I can unsolder this one and correct it's problem.

Here's my finished one. Look Ma no tape. OK no tape holding it together.
And just for S&G's my Top Flite Corsair Reno Racer I finished yesterday.

SENTRY, ok, cool boat video. Now how did you keep water off the cam? Or does it really not get that wet being up front? I have never really payed any attention to the wetness of my boat. thanks

Not my video - just test it man. A lot of your questions are things that you can just try and see.

Make sure you got some good batts in the Tx - it seemed to cut out a few times. Also don't point the Tx directly at the plane. Looks like it's coming along for you!!! Pretty kool!!
