1.2Ghz Tx Only: Where to buy a cheap one

Hi,

I already bought the good deal from BOB:

http://www.bestofferbuy.com/av-wirel...o-p-15758.html

and now I need a new Tx for another project and I don't want to buy the whole kit again (1 Receiver is enough).

Where should I go? Is this one a good one?

I'd make sure the frequency's were compatible before I buy anything.

The tx that you linked will work with you BOB receiver, but the problem is that the tx transmits on aviation DME frequencies. It doesn't do the commonly used 1.28GHz which is actually what most people use. Other than FPV vendors, I don't know anywhere that you can buy seperate 1.3GHz transmitters. You are probably better off just buying another BOB combo and having a spare receiver and then you can get an Oracle box and have diversity.

Ok but do you think this 800mw Tx is a decent one? Because some are just crap.

The tx is pretty decent, but like lovegroove says, doesn't do 1280MHz. There's a 4 position switch at the back, mine only does 1080, 1120, 1160, 1200 (Ch4,5,6 and 7 on Fox rx). BevRC sells a few of the Fox tx (1280MHz) separately.

OK thanks for the feedback, I'll look at bevrc and maybe give the dinodirect one a shot because as I live in Luxembourg I don't care about 1280Mhz.

+1. he has all the TXs you can normally get from china (minus the bad ones) and since you live near him you'll spend his markup on shipping and customs if you order from china.

I have spare antennas and custom Vee too so I guess I ll stick to the 800mw.

I'll give you feedback afterwards.

There is a huge price difference too for my needs: 24USD vs (82USD + 20USD shipping)
