Easy DIY Projects-1 LCD monitor + 2.4gHz Video Rx module Combo - 59 USD

Hi Everyone
I bought a 4.3" LCD monitor from Ebay 15 days ago. I paid 32 USD (free shipping)
I need an easy portable, pratical and cheap solution for my test desk. I also need it for short funny times.

Parcel came yesterday. There was monitor and power cable in the parcel.

Lets start to make our projects. TOTAL COST IS 59 USD

Adjust mode : Contrast, saturation, hue, brightness can be adjustible as + and -

First of all we will cut the cable.

Move the soldering of cable.

Connect the black and white cables to Rx module

Hi Trappy.

LCD monitor doesn't go to bluescreen anymore. On power "NO SIGNAL" screen appears only.

Hi Coyote64

Here is a link (there are many similar) : http://cgi.ebay.com/4-3-TFT-LCD-Car-...-/250598702026

Best regards

Does not show static.

I had already a few different LCDs.

I have not seen 1 LCD which does show static.

I e-mailed you several times for problems with the orders I placed with you and never got a response. You should check your e-mails sometime.

Is it me or this mod is totally pointless? Unless someone wants to play with the soldering iron.

This guy just hardwired a receiver module at the back of an LCD screen.

These cheap LCDs have been around for ever and since they turn blue (or in this case they display: No Signal) they are practically unreliable for FPV use.

Even for "passenger" use - why would someone want to use a second receiver instead of splitting and sharing the video signal from the main Rx that (usually) has a directional antenna?

It doesn't even look nice. An uncased receiver module stuck on the backside, uninsulated contacts, terrible solder job, lose cables hanging, a bare lipo...
Some mod!

well it's the idea that counts, and if it performs allright, maybe we'll see a case in the future......

As far as I know about how LCD draws the image compared to TV tubes, there shouldn't exists any LCD display showing static. I may be wrong, though... somthing with an embedded Time Base Corrector
