Dumpster divin'

A friend of mine sent me a text that someone had dumped some wrecked planes in his dumpster and asked me if I wanted to take a look.

Well not a bad haul.

Wow! Nice Pickins!

Wish I had a dumpster that friendly near me.... Looks like a couple of Spektrum AR500 receivers at the bottom of the photo... Mudman1959

Sure enough they are, funny they knew enough to pull the ESC's but not the receivers?. Alas no DX 7 under the pile but I was hopeful.

That may be stolen equipment. Someone who paid for those Spektrum RX's would NOT throw them out.

Those stock Parkzone motors....maybe so.

My guess is a guy bought a couple of RTF PZ planes and had a bad day. That Z-Foam is pretty tough and these planes were way beyond repair.

Sorry, not for sale...I have plenty of projects for these parts...

Well IF someone stole them it would be nice to return them to their rightful owners.

I"m not condemning. I just find it odd someone would toss stuff with a fair amount of value. I hope some poor chap isn't out there being sad b/c someone 'jacked' his stuff.

I consider myself an honest guy. If I thought someone stole these planes I would follow up on this, but to me it is simply a case of first flyer frustration.

Consider this, if you were irresponsible enough to steal the planes and trash them why would you go to the effort of cleaning up your mess?.

No doubt I could be wrong........

Perhaps a poll?

Take care guys
