Im not overly excited about these at the moment. $15 is a fair price, but you can currently buy genuine spektrum 6100e's on ebay for $32au ($26us) with free postage. By the time I spend $15 at hobbyking and then they hit me with the $20 postage Im well and truely behind.

These also only appear to be short range receivers, like the 6100s. Would love them to do some clones of the AR500, AR6200 and the AR7000. If they could do them at a decent price, I would consider buying them.

The 6100 is a phased out Rx that was replaced by the 6110.

Excuse me while I pass.

Entrusting my work and equipment to a cheap trash rip-off receiver does not appeal sufficiently

How bout that.... didnt know. Still a genuine 6100e will still do the trick for my profile foamies like Hyperion Sniper. I wouldn't trust my bigger balsa or parkzone planes with anything less then the AR500. Nothing worse then a fly away because you've exceeded the range of the short range receivers! Done that before.

You can get away buying cheap motors and cheap batteries, if either one doesn't perform 100% in air you've got a chance of saving the plane. Lose your receiver or ESC in flight and you're comin in hard!

I've had not a single problem with the 6110 or 6100e in a park flyer.

I don't think I would bother with the clones.

Even if one does not fancy using the clone receivers, their very existence might have an impact on the pricing of the genuine article.

I am certain most may include these tiny items among many other purchased items from HK. Shipping and handling cost will then be nil.

HK does not claim these Rx as clones but are Spektrum DSM2 compatible.

um...its not a cheap trash ripoff.

Its not a clone

its a receiver that will work on the DSM2 spectrum.

NOTE* This is not a Spektrum receiver, nor is it a copy of a Spektrum Receiver.
The Spektrum brand is a trademark of Horizon Hobbies USA.

while I would never use a 6100 series receiver in anything larger than a 40" wingspan parkflyer, I could see this HK reciever as being PERFECT for those smaller foamy models/3d Flyers!!
