Hello Sub culture,

The Hull is made of polyester with gelcoat, the deck is one piece and indeed glassed in afterwards, but for sure not made of Resin.
Only the lathes are made of Resin.

Jan,

Hello all,

Just to let you know I'm still busy and I like to show you some results,

The back of the hull is almost ready,

I'm busy with the last Resin hatch as you can see.

Then a photo of the gun foundation and it was a lot of work but it pays off very well at least I'm happy with it.

And a photo of the tower.

And a little impression of the Sub.

Now I'm almost so far that I can built the WTC in the hull and built the Sub up with out grinding 10000000 holes...

Kind regards,

Jan.

If you have the use a of a milling machine, it would certainly speed up slotting the deck.

Hello DDG51,

Thanks for your detailed explanation of how to deal with this kind of work.
And I can tel i do it in most cases the same way you did above.

However holding the spirit when making a very lot of this grindings holes can be become hard if you doing to much at the same time, your concentration will be decreasing and the change op mishaps will increase.

But your example is the way to do this.

Thanks for sharing,

At the moment the building continuous the rudders and dive planes in the aft are put in, the WTC tube is placed, the tower is almost ready, I'm started with the Guns, so its growing.

Regards,
