Nice find, but it sure looks like it will weigh at least 3g.

To compare size:
BA2.5: 19.6 x 18.8 x 8
PHD2: 16 X 17 X 8

The BA2.5 is also using a 5x10mm pager. The PHD could be smaller.

nothing like an OEM advertising a product on their site and the consumer not being able to find a dealer listed anywhere within to save their life let alone the price...

I don't think they are available anywhere yet. Even Himodel only lists down to the 3.7g servo.

Troybuilt models and Hobbycity carry Power HD servos but I did't see the HD-1200A at either of them. I just sent an Email to Troybuilt and asked them if they know when the HD-1200A will be available? Does it really weigh 2 grams? How much will it cost?

Not much of a response from Troybuilt. They just said "NOT ON OUR LIST RIGHT NOW."
So they probably don't know anything about them either or can't say yet.
I think it's common for companies to see how much response they get on a product before they actually make them. It'll probably be awhile for these. I'd love to try them though. Every gram less helps.

Then if what you are saying is true, someone else may come out with something better sooner. And at this point in time all the big companies are going small.

Hard to say what other companies are coming out with. I just build and fly. But the BA2.5has been the lightest and only truly "traditional" servo out there for a few years now as far as I know. "Traditional" meaning the usual rectangular servo with a thin plastic case we're all use to seeing. Like I said, I'd love to see that 2g servo especially if the price is in line with the BA2.5g.
