No ...i 'll make the cage next week...all in alu tube welded...
i think fly it in june....

Yes miniphase...i hope don't crash it

...Covering with paper....

Drawing the shape, cutting, water impregnation for stress the paper...and finaly when paper dryed, varnishing with cellulosic varnish.....just a nice effect...

as you're building yours to a smaller scale, I've shown the throws on a drawing so you scale accordingly

these measurements were taken from the outboard end of the elevon

I made my initial set of winglets smaller than shown on Vern's plans, but it made the model unstable requiring a more forward cg. I did have one time when a fin did 'blow off' in flight. It still flew ok but lacked yaw stability.

i reinforced the roots with two ribs in birch ply...and aded a foam joint
the cage is started...
