@dusk - yes, other folks have had the same problem.

You should be able to rip the hot glue out and drizzle a little CA on the back of the plate without having to pull the nose apart.

Having a play with mine right now. I just can't help myself and have to find some way to improve it. Was thinking of nipping off all those moulding marks for a start. Elevator hinge needs loosening a bit as its way too stiff for that size servo.

Do you guys reakon its worth trying to stiffen up the wings and stuff with some laminating film or something? Was thinking of improving the spars somehow. Got some really nice light thin laminating film from NQRC that will go around the curves well as well. Any thoughts?

If you probe with a pin from the outside until you hit the plywood you can drill a few small holes and fill with medium cyno.

Plywood? Your motor mount is plywood?
from what i can see in mine all they did was glue the mounting plate of the motor to the fuse...

@olmod: the motor mount is aluminium, hot glued into the fuse. A terrible idea for a motor that runs that hot. 8(

@ian: no, the AEO motors don't have a base quite *that* large. 8)

Ummm no Jungle Jim gave me the spares that came with the HC version and i had a 2100KV motor which i turned up a 25mm diam disc mount the right length and glued that into one half of the fuz with gorilla fast cure.
I am using ~70% expo on A,E,R. on a DX6i.

So, maidened my V-Swift yesterday.
The 6x3folding on 2S did not work well - changed it against a Graupner 4,7x4,7 on a 3S610mAh Lipo.

There he is the maiden Video of my little hotliner ;-)

Awesome video, thanks! What happened to cause you to crash? Elevator servo failure?
