So far only BASS and Long Island Hand launch Classic are listed as team qualifier contests. Also the ECHLGF in Wilson, N.C. is a team qualifier contest.

Let's send more guys to team selections from the East Coast.

It is easy. If I understand it correctly all you need to do is:

1.Post your contest on the site at least 1 month before via this form (http://f3k.us/page9.html) or through email usaf3k@gmail.com
2.Follow the rules on http://f3k.us/page2.html
3. report the scores

Details can be found at: http://f3k.us. It is fun and easy and the guys who are organizing are great. let's support F3K and add our contests!

My suggestion would be that you should pester the CDs directly of the CRRC and MASA contests that have not registered as selection events.

Last I heard, Mark has been a very busy man and doesn't need anyone to pester him. I am sure he will do it if their club wants to or can do it. CASA, i believe you are referring to, has a new CD (Phil won't be able to do it this year) and may not be aware of what to do and how to do it.

I just wanted to offer a little wake up call to all the clubs as to what to do and roughly how to do it and to hopefully take avantage of these qualifying events adn have a chance at the US team.

Guys, if you need help, please ask. Any assistance I can offer is yours for the taking! I just would liek those great pilots on the East Coast who are interested in Team selection to have every opportunity to become qualified. They are my home bunch and are a great bunch of guys. Not to mention awesome pilots too. I think they would make a fine addition to the US Team.

Well, for those who are not focused on making the national team or going to Europe in the world championships, we still have 12 contests to enjoy.

Having contests on the US F3K team selection qual schedule apparently has the side effect (in most locations, ymmv, disclaimer disclaimer) of increasing all levels of interest in the contest.

Ryan, I hope you are right. Let's see if registrations bear that out.

I was just pointed to this thread. I and Charles French are the co-CD's for the CASA contest. I am very interested in having it be one of the qualifiers for the USA team.

I will PM you with my private email and we can start the discussion.

BASS is next weekend. This should be a GREAT contest.

There are 19 pilots registered. With a little luck it will top 25.

So, what are YOU doing next weekend?

As of today there are 27 people registered for BASS, which is this weekend. I would bet that a few more will register.

The next ESL HL after that is the CRRC Hand Launch Classic on July 17 & 18 in Sudbury MA, near Boston.

The we have the Long Island Hand Launch Classic on 8/7-8 on Long Island, NY.

This is going to be a great season for HL/DLG contests on the East coast!
