I agree, that blue screen suxs, looks like old chinese cell phones it's not even a true backlit screen it has a few leds on both sides nothing else and can't be compared to a white light screen from Futaba or JR... hope I'm wrong
I'm still waiting he answer my question if he has nothing to hide..., why 3 brands with the same Tx case ?

I expect a software with 7-9 point curves much better than this one.. http://www.acteurope.de/html/sender_s3d-12_th.html

its called jim and crew dont have the design capabilities (and manufacturing capabilities) to design a case like futaba/jr/hitec does. he picked out a case he was happy with, so i am sure it will work great. maybe you could design your own case and mass produce it?

it's too evenly lit to be just "from the sides"... I've held it, lights up just as sweet as my Futaba 10C did...

well, it's wouldn't be that they don't have the ability to design a new case... it's that if you can use a case that does the job by which saves you time, development and production costs allowing you to deliver a lower price to the end customer and still deliver the true core values which is the system smarts and abilities... why not?

...the best way to make an impact is to really deliver on what you're good at and streamline the rest. it's simply good business sense.

I'm interested to some specifics, like:
What's the resolution of the Tx?
Will it be 1024, 2048,???? How about max throw output in usec?
Yep # of points on mix curves, splines, lines, etc?
Logic switches? Precision of gimbal pots?

I own a 10C too.. about the XPS16 resolution is it better ?
what dot pitch and screen resolution ? better than a genuine JR 11X ?
long words or abbreviations ? THR, ELEV, RUDD, AILE, PIT, SW, CH, HI, LO, D/R, EXP... etc
2 knobs on the top center: do they beep when you turn them ON or are they analogic like the 10C ones ?
2S LiPo or LiFe or NiMh ?
price of receivers for ?
backlight contrast control ?
fully asignable control switch ?
more questions later..

The screen backlighting is WHITE, not blue. Someone needs a better camera! The resolution is 240x64. Contrast is adjustable. The LCD is at an angular frequency that does NOT interfere with polarized sunglasses (this was a big issue for me). Yes, it beeps. It also has speech output. Wireless buddy box, wireless sharing of model memory, wireless updates, telemetry, etc. We still don't have a complete features list (or even a name for the transmitter yet). We are looking at adding the extra 16 channels (32 channels total) for non-essential flight controls (like gear door sequencing, lighting, canopy release, etc.) There will be frequent updates for this transmitter and I hope that the many developers that have contacted us will also keep the updates busy.

The Schwing 32 - kind of catchy.

We didn't plan on offering a case.
