I am about to cut new wings.
have to decide if it shall be if I shall make it part hollow.to have wires and servos inside simple.
And one thing for sure my 5 blade fan will be used too. This is a flying test stand.

I've finally found some time to make some progress on mine - the fuselage and empennage have now been fibreglassed. Let's get this show on the road!

And I just got all the blocks glued together. Ready for glass inside tomorrow. Making epoxy for the inside means that I also can make the last ducts for Draken.
Sunday or Monday will be glue together day.

super slingjet II

it is not much that have changed .
a little thicker glass inside and a plywood "H" with two screws to hold the wing.
now it will harden for the next 4 days as I have to visit the hospital for 3 days.

Okay, I really need to post some progress. This is one of many projects that I have on the go, more than I should for the amount of free time that I have. In any case, this is one of my current favourites and so I spend a few hours sanding today. My glassing abilities are much less than what I would call "skilled," and I had a few spots where the cloth lifted away in a ripple on the fuselage and horizontal stabs. Some sanding and filling with light Poly-Filla worked very well, and my model now stands as a reasonable facsimile of the top-notch work that Claus cranks out.

So here it is - the glue is drying on the tailfeathers now and it's starting to look like a model!

Got side-tracked!

though light build we have managed it to mill with 1/10 mm precision at 200 mm/sec.

The wings are all glassed now. The weather here is improving enough that I can anticipate painting within the next month or so! A bit of sanding and filling on the wing, and then I'll be on to mounting electronics and painting.

The wing seems very strong!
