Is anyone going to get one of these to try?

of course... but only when I try Beast X

When I first heard of it, I, kind of, expected a bit lower price

BTW - reading between lines - it looks like 3 axis one - so no need for tail gyro. I wonder how good tail gyro is in it...

I was wondering when hk would come out with a flybarless system. at least the price is approaching what these things are actually worth...

Don't you need a special rotor head to use one of these?

Either that or you can modify an existing head. Usually you will need to move the main grip links further out from the head block and build up a swash driver.

for $30 less I'd rather have the Gaui vBar, at least some people have gotten it to work.

Looks the same as the Axiom, or SJGD. I would buy one if I didn't already outfit my whole fleet with the align 3G system.....maybe I'll get one for my night flying heli I'm building this week.

i meant the head. yeah, there's no discount on the electronics.

the question is, are any of these things going to be good as long as the gyro sensors are vibration sensitive

ok. I thought the original vbar price was $189.99. guess not.

If it is the same as the axiom, then it should perform as well as that one.

however the only way to know for sure is to buy one and try it for yourself!

At their $170 price I think this is priced a bit to high. We'll have to see how it does in the market.

If I wanted cheap FBL I'd buy a $75 FlyMentor 3d before I'd spend $170 on the Turnigy V-Bar.

I agree...

If it was below $100 I wouldn't think twice to buy it - now as BeastX is 140 EUR (~$170 now) - there is no dilemma here.
