Sweet

Make sure the intake ducts aren't half-assed like their last 16's were.

Any idea what the price will be?

Looking good!! In the second pic, it looks like the mains are sitting proud of the fuselage - will the production models be able to be tucked away and doors fitted?

I would expect the price to be $230-300 for the kit. I'm curious to how much the retracts, mounts and gear doors will be.

AIR SALLY:
That's one of my favorites as well.

tailslide5_0:
Ducting is the best I've seen from HET and the cost should be good. retracts, struts and wheels should be reasonable as well.

pilotrcuk:
Retracts do recess so the gear doors work properly. we are using electric retracts for flight testing. I'm so done with air...

Mike_eee:
knlken:
The costs will come down to how much factory work will be put in allowing for quicker final assembly to the builder.

How about just all white. I have some of the paint from Edwards to do my own scheme. Some dude sent me some from when he worked out there as an F-16 tech.

Sure, that's the easiest. it's all white gel coat out of the mold.

oh boy! fap fap fap fap!!!

i've been waiting to pop my 90mm cherry...and the f16 is my favorite jet of all time. this might be the one!
the only issue is cost of batteries...but hobby city lipos make that a moot point haha.

I'll check with the factory to double-check. HET has been using Epoxy for a couple of years. before that they were Polyester and it was easy to tell by the look inside had a slight peach color and strong odor. unless some new formula exists to make the resin clear and not smell it appears epoxy.

That would be a major selling point - polyseter fuselages are heavy, brittle, ahh don't get me started

Epoxy mouldings are what the people want!!

Yes, if it's epoxy that would be much better. I'd have to buy one of these for sure if it was.
