Sounds great!
My stab is "OK", just has a little crease from a landing in tall grass... Just let me know, anytime.

Hi-
I emailed them (thank God Chrome translates!) and they responded quickly...
He states that "they do in fact have the rear stabs available, but to place an order via email since it is not in their catalog."
I returned his email with a "Please order this for me" descriptor... Is that what he meant? Have you ordered from them before? Just wondering... BTW, its pretty inexpensive at 29 euros...

No need for the translator, Demon - they speak (or write) english perfectly.
I have ordered from them, and this is why I have two planes (one hotliner and one speeder) sharing the same wing. I guess you'll receive a mail about postage and stuff from them during today. Payment goes via PayPal.

I gotten several planes from them also - no problems.

Well, one problem, not their fault, Deutsche Post let my last two shipments sit for 2 wks in German customs before they released them to the carrier!

This i good idea!
Shame I did not read this earlier
I just ordered the fuselage from them and i could have ordered it with the horizontal stab..

BTW I got my Turnigy 5S 1800mah battery from HK and it fits nicely without splitting it ,but only if im running my Mega .
It doesnt fit if there is motor+gearbox at the front
What props should I try with 16/25/2 and 5S ?

Gryphon
Doubt it, but will know more after running the 1115/1Y with that prop on 4S.
Or 5...

Dirty math (while half sleep) says 4S will not do it.

5S may get you roughly 10% excess pitch speed.

Hopefully the motor and battery can handle 5S.

Calc suggests about 100A on 5S.
BTW: Cooling is great this time of year

I think 250 MPH prop pitch speed on that prop needs 3KW on ground.

You need less pitch speed than that.

.....still, 100A??? Maybe unloaded?

Good luck and have fun....wear eye protection.

Well......The calcs have been very wrong about this motor earlier, so 100A seems to be too low. Finding out more on 4S...

I'd start with a 4.75x4.75 and check your temps. I'm getting around 175 mph with that setup.

My mini hotliner wasp pulled a 295kmh (183mph) pass through a 200m speedtrap for future reference.

Holding the power on for 200m is surprising challenging on both the thumbs and poor little 16/25/2 running at 110A+ on 6S , hot but in one peice

Hey Jacko,

what if any shims are you using on your wing ?
mine is shimmed about 1mm on the trailing edge and has a slight belly tuck on power

and what size 6s were you able to squeeze in there or is it 3+3 ?
