you said it. -50 to +50. 100 degrees difference between winter and summer. you never get used to it. I prefer the weather in the West Midlands. sunny and warm in the winter and not too cold in the winter. I kinda miss that. LOL.

Hi all, a few pics of the froggy nearly completed. All painted, just needs a fine rub down and then an application of lacquer. Still need to paint fan hatches which had last coat of glass today, and control surfaces need finishing also.

Really looks nice Phil. It's gonna fly great.

Have you figured your AUW yet?
With twin 70's it should have plenty of power. What size batts are you going to use?

Hey boogie, I haven't weighed it yet now its painted. I think its got to be around 2kg, i'll get the scales out. Im thinking twin 70's on 4s cells, depending on what fans I get.

You are a "go" for reentry

For that size 84oz and a twin 70mm...That actually isn't bad seeing that the real one doesn't have a very high TWR.

You could add landing gear on that with little worry.

I agree. she'll be just fine. put some non scale e-tracts on it and have fun with the takeoffs/landings.

Not much to report at the moment apart from making plug for canopy. Also need to start looking at making up a launch dolly.

@jumpy. Wowww, bungy via dolly, you are a gutsy man... IMHO have lots of expo set in your transmitter and do not pull up more than necessary, slowly add height then a mellow curve. Not to slow on landing. Looking forward to maidenflight footage.
