i hav'nt ck'd the watts in this air frame yet ,it was around 1200 or 1400 in the Draken.we flew it on 4s and 5s in that plane.hav'nt flown on 5s in this plane yet .more testing to come. Gary i'll see what i can get done this weekend.any way to get a doppler off of this vid? there is less background noise in Hills vid ...i did see you inthere with a camera so maybe you have it .

Rodger, Rodger, on the weekend work.

I'm working on the Viperjet demo video at the moment, but when I get it finished, I'll look at all hillbille's video and all my F-20 footage for the fastest pass. My video of it flying on 5s was before we tuned the ESC, so there was some stuttering at takeoff.
I'll include the 5s doppler pass in the new (nicer) video.

Hey Gary, is there any word on the SAPAC Electric Retracts yet?.

I could do with a set for another model? I have some air retracts still NIB but I've come to appreciate the ease of electric installations.

Gary the only 5s flight was with your uncharged batt we could not get it over half power due to the LVC.so the best flights were with the 5000 4s batt.i have not flown it yet with a good 5s batt.so there is more speed to be had ...but it looks plenty fast on 4s

That's fine with me. The purpose of the the demos were to show that your craftsmanship provided a great looking, good solid flyer. That's the requirement at this point.
There were no issies with the airframe whatsoever. No bad habits, no flutter. only a loose wheel.

IMO, the F-20 more than proved it's self.

It looked as though it did everything it should, including looking the part.

I'd love to prove it for myself real soon

nice try ...i cant blame you for trying ,it is a very nice looking plane. i dont have any 6s batts or power system ,but im sure Gary will do his that way .i may drop back to a 900-1000 watt set up to test the low end of power.the current system is a middle of the road set up

Does it fly better than a Sapac Viperjet? I know that is subjective, but I don't really like the way the VJ flies. I have never been able to put my finger on it, but I just dont like it. Mine is fast and smooth, but something is not 'right'. I would gladly take everything out of the VJ and put into one of these one day.
