oh yeah this is the way it should be done ,and my hats off to Sky World for going the extra mile with this set up . it's a alum tube machined to hold the berings and steel control arms ,S/B bullet proof.
On another point ,i Bought some MAPS for the F-20 and as Gary said sapac or maps will fit . i need to get some Struts from Gary . but i can start mounting the retacts. Gary could you post measurements for the Sapac struts? that would help with the install.

Yeah, gimmie a little while.

The bearings are a light press fit. When installing them, be sure to apply Loctite 680, Cylindrical Part Bonding Compound, and press with an arbor press or drill vise.

We can get any bearing (metric or inch sizes) you need.
As a special, one-sy two-sy...But we don't plan on selling bearings as a regular item.

are you going to offer the whole modified F-20 kit?
So flyer need not to do the mod?
That would be grreat.

The F-20 platform is perfect for classic EDF jet with retracts.

The plan is to offer a retrofit for the ducts. fan mtg, and possibly an aftermarket scale wing. I'm not even sure if it's cost effective yet.

you could charge a fee for custom work like some other jet companies do.

Yeah, I guess that would be different than modifying or repairing existing jets for local guys. (been there, and still reluctantly doing that) We'll consider it, after seeing the final product, and the time involved.
