Never fly an A model anything!

I expect quite a bit more than a polyester glass Habu that weighs a ton without anything in it.

Low volume masterpieces won't be cheap. I committed to a small run purchase so I could seethes thing at the field. j

The molds and lay up work is being done by "air sally".
He could better answer that one. I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

Mold making research and development scratch building re-engineering
all takes a lot of time, your talking at least a year maybe two before an
actual production model can be produced. I am working on a project that
I will share with you guys in the near future and for a hint, think BIG...

Like a lot of things that come to market, they are not for everyone. for example, I would never own a pick-up no mater how it came....at any price.

I agree not bargain basement. But when SAPAC initially brought there stuff to the market it was not a lot cheaper and for many of us, much of what was included got swapped out. Motors/fans and retracts all got upgraded to move them closer premium products. You were still left with built up balsa wings and horizontal stabs.......and polyester resin glass.

I still believe their products were benchmark setters at great quality and value for their time. This F-20 is a level beyond that. J
