We recieved the first of the TOP GUN 90mm jet models, for sale at WSEF next weekend. The boxes are way too big to all fit in the USPS truck, so the rest of them will be here tomorrow.
We managed to get the last (one) L-39 of the current production run (when we ordered it) as our sales sample. If you guys haven't seen it in other threads...It's freaking huge!
I told myself.."no more time for modifying jets" but this thing is just begging me to put a Skyworld 100mm EDF it!
Super easy mod.

heres the main gear and spar mount as promised. the spar continues into the wing and intersects with a factory placed spar. i also rounded the corners of pieces that were interfereing with the fillet of epoxy the factory used to bond the wood parts into the wings . this is a very hard epoxy ,not the cheap stuff we see alot of . way to go Sky world top notch!

Rodger,
Well......I can dream, can't I?

Actually, the efflux RC, F-4 demo jet is next.
..........

The gear mount looks pretty darn rigid tied to the spar. Nice thick A/C ply too. Are the Strut-to-retract mtg pins too long, or?

the maps have 1/8 pins so i had to make them and drill out the sapac struts. i guess i should have bought sapac retracts too ,but every body said they where the same ....guess they aint.i'll make 3 pieces each so you and J will be covered. we need to see what all we are going to supply and work on pricing .....and some lazer cutting if you sell a bunch of these.can you get C/F spars cheaper. i paid full price for mine

I can't wait to see the F-20m fly and hopefully I can get a kit to get mine finished like yours Roger.

My F-4 is done and ready for a maiden on 7s or 8s. It looks very old school with cheaters galore. The front wheel bay is just a big cheater and so is the cockpit area. As I said it looksd as though the fan will eat batteries or anything else that is not very very well stuck down. I modded mine by forming the ducts around the cockpit area with light core flute. No cheaters anymore anywhere. I expect it to have sufficienty grunt not to need them. Still tossing up whether to add flaps to the tailerons or fly as aileron/elevator Hmmm. Sorry it should be on another thread but you got me going.

J,
It's gonna pull 110A on 7s, I'm not sure what ESC your using but I believe when cory bench tested it on 8s, the amps went to 140. (your goin to need to practice some throttle management 8s. He only has an ICE 100 in there. So it just flys along, quite spritely on 7s.
That' why I suggested the 1.5 on 12s for the faster one.

gary, what kv is cory running? on my first midi setup, i had a nue 1415 1.5Y, which is around 1500-1600 kv on 8s. about 90A and 2500-2600W. a little over 8 lbs of thrust, and good for 130-135mph speeds in my big jhh cougar.

1680 kv ARC on 7s. half the price of the Nue.
The batts were only turnigy 20c, 5000's. but I just him a brand new XPS 7s, 30c, 5000 pack to fly at WSEF.

arc's are great motors no dought, i just wanted to know the KV. they perform right on par with the neu. if the neu wasnt givin to me to test, id probably never have one cause the $$. throw a midi rotor in that thing man! go to 8s. or heck, even 7s.

Do you have some stuff to contribute at this time? I'd love to see what you've got going on. Cause I don't at this time. If then I'll start one now.
