I googled the Basin RC field and came up with the location below.

Apollo XI Field 6201 Woodley Av.
Lake Balboa, CA 91436

I will feed that into the GPS and see if I can work my way through the LA traffic to get there tomorrow bright and early-ish

I just got back to the Hotel after being caught up in a major sobriety test. I was making good time until then. I'll post mor details later but in summary, the only thing cooler than picking up my F-20 was meeting Roger and Gary and then acting up for a quick bite at an airman's club.

Thanks guys. J

Awesome day.
The haze burned off just after Rogder, Jay and I got there @ 10AM. Temps in the mid 70s and only a lite breeze.
I only flew the Stinger, but Harry flew the Habu 32 and White Viperjet.

It was one of those unseasonably nice late winter days, where everyone came out, and it was an "event like" crowd. Everything from foamys to turbines in the main airspace. Probably more than ALL the pilots stations were filled most of the time. So A.S. decided not to fly the F-20 in the crowded skies.

It was great to see J again, and we delivered the first efflux RC / Air Sally F-20 kit to him at the field.

About 3:30 we headed over the the "94th Aero Squadron" for lunch, and sat out side right on the "16R" ( ) runway with only a chain link fence between us and the arriving and departing traffic at VNY.

J and I spent an hour chatting over esspresso, before his returning to his hotel in LA, and prepairing for thier flight home.

It was a fun day guys. Looking forward to next time.

Here's the control arms for the flaps being located and mounted.
There an assy jig (supplied with the kit) to assist in locating the Control Horns is proper location, so the customer can use non digital servos facing the same direction with a "wye" cable if required. I installed my servos this way, but will be putting anolog servos on separate channels for added functionality anyway.

The air system is next, then time for some paint.
