That just blows me away! Your skill in flying it, the fact the plane will even do that...
I now have a new respect for SS design, this really is a remarkably well designed airframe.

Thank you for showing me something about my favorite plane that I could not have imagined until your revelation.

Just think of what you could do if you had a motor! (shut-up Sculptor- right)

Thanks again for your remarkable contribution and please keep us updated,

DJ

PS; I went to my cardiologist today and the report was good, he said "You heartless S-O-B you don't have a damn thing to worry about. YAH!

Hello from Russia!
I want to share with you their design Motor Mount. The motor frame is made of glass for the manufacture of printed circuit boards. The design is attached to the fuselage on the CA glue.
All photos in my album.

Hey guys im new here and excited to get my first rc plane!!
I was hoping you guys could give me a little advice on what to buy.

What is the difference between mode 1 throttle right radio and mode 2 throttle left radio?

Are these batteries fine to get? Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...932&aff=464726

A video recommended a carbon fiber rod to be glued under the plane.
Would this be fine?
http://www.rcfoam.com/product_info.p...4b1fe783e7dc4c

I read on youtube to change the wing spar or insert another carbon fiber rod inside the stock spar to make it more stronger..but im not sure what size too get..would have any idea which size?

Also which glue do you guys recommend to use?

Sorry for all the questions!
Does anyone recommend anything else to get?

It should fly at least once

Josh_ you might find one of these a little more rugged

Regarding Mode 1 or 2 depends on who is teaching you or what they mostly have at the club (if you join one)
Read the various threads on Bixler and Clouds before choosing batteries etc.

My personal preferences -

Mode 2. Everything you need is controlled with the right hand. The left hand can change the throttle setting without bumping the ailerons (or the other way) as you do with Mode 1. But then again, it is up to you. Though I'm generally left handed, Mode 2 still suits me.

Haven't fitted an under fuselage spar. If the hinges are free enough there shouldn't be stress (or too much) on the fuselage.

Original Wing Spar - 6 mm diameter OD, 4.7 mm ID or about 0.6 mm wall thickness.

Assemble with Gorilla glue - urethane type.

Other recommendations -

Rehinge all surfaces (HK 008-00201), about $1 worth, wire horns for security (1 mm copper wire).

Found. The little yellow on the wing tips gave it away.

Now all you have to do is climb up there.

Interesting design. Since I could not read the words under the pictures what did you use to attach the screws and tiny legs to the ring with. Some type of glue?

I have been there once. Got out a little too far and when I came back I thought I had clearance but it hit a tree.

Mine at least came down by itself with minimal damage. Mostly my pride was hurt from all the laughs from family spectators.

Did yours come down ok?
