Griz? EEeek... I'm a little girl when it comes to griz... I backpack in black bear country, no prob... but I wouldn't be caught dead (haha) anywhere near a griz.

They spend time in the hazelnut groves off to the right and the corn fields behind us. In the morning there are always a number of fliers so the they just ignore us. In the evening a flier would likely be alone and, while staring up at his plane, would not see a bear approaching.

Yeah, man... right... something big. 22's are ridiculous against a bear. They just ricochet off their skull and piss 'em off unless you get a lucky shot.

I'm griz-phobic. Polar bear are even worse. To a griz, you're an enemy. To a polar bear, you're food.

The Bixler and Hawk Sky


OK, in my builds of the Hawk Sky and The Bixler I have discovered a somewhat different approach to aileron connection. Each plane uses seperate servos for each of the ailerons, but the Hawk Sky has a double pin-set on one 3-wire connector for the ailerons where The Bixler uses a Y cable. Same result, just a different method of connection. Also, the motor wires are quite long on the Hawk Sky, especially when combining the lengths attached to the motor and the ones to which they connect coming out of the fuse. It makes for a challenge to hide them in the fuselage/motor pylon of the Hawk Sky.

Not griz, just black bear. The griz are further north. If they were griz I would never fly there!

Speed controller issue


I got this speed controller months ago and just got around recently to testing it.
I know that the problem is with the controller and not the motor.
The question is...can this SC be used without causing the plane to crash at some point?
It only runs like that at very slow speed. It reacts normally at all other speeds.

Lipo's dont have their own oxygen you can see that by watching the vids on you tube....nothing BURNS without oxygen

this is why some of the lipo's dont burn if the container is nearly sealed only allowing the inflamable gas to escape...chek out the second lipo in this vid
