On the Slow Stick.... The fiberglass fuse split on the motor end on a nose in. I glued a wooden dow into it and didn't want to drill through it to hold the mount on so I did this. Used it on the landing gear also.

I usually blame most things on Prof100 but this time I think HK has some programming issues. There's a Swarm Sale thread here also and I noticed they were saying how it's goofed up some right now.
In the mean time, we'll just keep trying.

LOL. Prof100 can certainly make a sense of all these too.

HK sends out an email verification. I use my work email for HK and I hadn't check it yet today. I did and found the verification email. So, I verified my enrollment. Check to see how many people have swarmed.

How many did you get? I got 3 of them (2835-2200) on the last swarm.

Anyone could say "Oh, yeah. I would have thought of that". But, truth being truth, I would not have thought of that. I would have done the wooden dowel thing and then I would have epoxied the heck out of it and drilled it the next day. OR, I have about 25 ORIGINAL aluminum fuselages (full length 800mm - no joiner) for the SS and, knowing me, I am sure I would have just replaced it.
So, your is at 3 years and going strong, huh?? Well done.
AJ
P.S. I see it worked for the LG, too. I use 3 wire ties for the LG when the front wing mount is too trashed to mount LG. You did good...

My whole bankroll on one bet. Wow, I am nervous.

Solder more flexible than Epoxy. After thinking about it for a while, I agree with you. I have no idea where I came up with my perspective. I think you are correct. However, without any research, I would bet that solder would be considerably heavier than the same volume of Epoxy. Maybe someone out there knows for sure and can provide some documentation other than "I think". In fact, I am so sure, I am putting my whole .02 bankroll on the bet that solder would make a heavier joint given the same volume of each material. (i.e. - 1cc of solder vs 1cc of epoxy)
