Inland Nautical Society Regatta photos

Hi out there,

I went to the Inland Nautical Society's regatta today; beautiful day, great turn out (51 registered skippers, over 65 boats). A good time was had by all. Pictures are not in any order, there are a mix of finished and works in progress

Retired for now
What a great gathering of beautiful models and some obviously happy people. The venue looks super with lots of calm water and nice shade trees. I think my favorite is the Mud River tug and the Pristine Salvage barge. Too bad they had to scrap the 57 Chevy and the 57 Ford. I'm a junker by nature and that set fits me to a tee. Did I see an old VW in there too? I'll give ya 2k for it right now. Ha! Great pics Goon. Thanks for posting them.
Almost forgot the steam boat with the alligators onboard. Looks like some of my old friends down in Everglades City back in the old days when Gators were protected. Now there are so many of them you can buy a license to hunt them. Pete

The crashed plane is one of the course markers; they've used it for years

Thanks for the kind words about the pic's; seeing all the boats gives me inspiration to get of my a## and go in the garage and work on something.

It just proves that if I take enough pictures, some have to be good!
