How to hook up two motors

Was wondering, how would you hook up 2 speed 400's in an aircraft? Do you hook both of them to 1 esc? How does the Twinstar do it?

Hook both motors in parallel to a single ESC.

Make sure that the ESC can handle twice the motor current.

As Greg said, wire them in parallel.

With a 7 cell pack, my JETI 35 doesn't even get warm.

With the supplied props, I'm guessing a total amp draw flying the way I fly is about 11 amps. But I do launch at full throttle, probably 15 to 20 amps, thus the big ESC

Thanx for the info. I reckon a Wattage 35 amp esc will be fine.
Contemplating on making something like the twinstar or a
catalina pby ship.

OOH, OOH, the PBY. My favorite flying boat. Dymond Modelsport (http://www.rc-dymond.com/) has one in fiberglass and foam with motors for about $220.00. I am currently building a 104" fiberglas and foam 4-stroke powered version myself.
