He said he used packing tape, but every dealer I speak to say it only comes in that nasty brown...

I thought he meant he taped it off for spray painting, the fluorescent color looks too smooth to be tape.

I get Hobbywing Pentium 40A's from eBay, never had a problem. But, I use a separate BEC.

Well, it does not only come in brown (see here for example). I use several colours too, which I buy locally.

Very nice!! What paint did you use???
It's actually 2.0 mil acrylic "carton sealing" tape, which is basically the same as the normal brown stuff. I got it from Tape Brothers which opened my eyes to the wornderful world of tape. Who knew there were so many different kinds? $3.63 gets you 110 yards, and I maybe used 1/4 of that.

LOL, thanks! It should look like this for approximately 1-2 flights, with my record. I had to capture the moment to prove that at some point, it was pretty.
