Does anyone know what version hobbyking is selling?
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=19335

Is it worth the extra $ to get a v5 from elsewhere?

V4 had the same foam canopy. HK had Skywalker stock in the US warehouse just before V5 was released,
so it's still a question whether those are V4 or V5.

I have a tk 102 (not 120). Works on the ground but I've yet to fly with it. Worried the gsm signal will swamp my gear.

If you get the V5 you only need to add some struts to the tail. I built mine stock with the supplied glue/no extra carbon or tape, just some struts for the tail and I can loop, roll ,power dive with big pullups and generally abuse the hell out of it with no problems. Just make sure you have the rubber bands on tight The V5 is the best SW I have owned so far.

good luck

I lost my vertical stabilizer in the top of a pine tree.. Anybody know where one can purchase individual parts for the Skywalker?

If not, can somebody go measure their vertical stabilizer piece so I can make one out of some foam sheets lying around? I drew up a quick sketch going from the pics on this thread and my miniwalker.

Just need A, B and C.

Thanks.

Thanks Nakel..

Looks like the Mini Skywalker is about half the size of the original. At least the vertical stab is.

We generally don't use carbon rods, but carbon ribbons (flat).
Dunno why bevrc sells a whole selection of rods.
