Flying low is expensive.

Its a very tidy and effective mod that is just too simple..
Very clever idea.
Where did you cut the holes for the spoon mod if your ESC is under the wing? Were the air scoops cooling the under-wing cavity, or were they in the body of the plane?

Outta Sight
In the under wing cavity.
Same as the pictures in posts 9349 and 9356, the upper "webdr spoon scoop" is catching air and feeding it into the cavity under the wing join.
My ESC is in there.

i am back from the field, did the maiden LOS, spent most of the flight triming the SW, very smooth flyer, just keep the turn smooth and not banked like i am use too on the Edge 540 and its all easy lol.

My CG was about 15mm aft servo wire, i might try to go at 25-30 and compare, the motor was more than enough, i did not use more than 1/4 stick and took off at 15 amps (my setup is doing 45 amps and 550W).

I am uploading the raw video from the ground station recorder, only thig negative is after taking this all off the Twinstar, reinstalling in the SW with new camera, torrid to all the wires, i get the same white lines in the video, those lines never got identified as outside interference, tryed all the channels, with and without diversity, same result, so it comes from the VTX, it is a Sunky 1.2 400mw, i will order a 800mw while the video uploads.

thats it, i am sure there is more to be said, but i will think about it.

video to come in a couple of minutes.

ohh. p.s. i used 540 mah of the 4400 available..... this plane will go to the clouds !

Can you post a pic of the Vtx installation underneath the wing?

the interference seems quite rhythmical.. I wonder if you have you mobile phone with you during the flight ? do you fly LRS ? if so try stepping as far a you can from the ground station and make sure you aerials are as close to the ground as possible.
the sunsky receiver NEEDS a ground plane. leave it on the floor or touch it during the flight or leave it on a metal plate.

Thanks but here is the test i did so far

was on the Twinstar 1st, 2.4 rtx, 1.2 vtx, diversity on the GS, 2 vrx of the same type, 1 omni and 1 patch, stock omni on vtx or inverted V = white lines

try new camera, new antenna, removed diversity, new rca cables, new torrid added to all wires on plane, = white lines

then switched it all to the Skywalker, new installation, new wires, all filtered, shielded vtx cables, new Chainlink LRS system, = WHITE LINES !!

then same Vrx, with my brother maiden but he is using my old Dpcav 900 vtx, we did not even change the GS patch and omni (Was for 1.2) and look at his video !

So with all that i identify the Vtx as the responsible for the white lines.

do you think i should try anything else ? lol

the video from my brother 900 is pretty much what made me order a new Vtx from Zoltan at nghobbies, i took the 800mw, since i got a LRS now i can use the extra range, the sunsky 400mw might have been damaged in my twinstar crash last winter.

thanks

edit: if the new Vtx fail, then i will try to take the OsdPro out and try again.

Would it be possible to buy an old fuselage (v2)?
