The shop was looking okay as long as all the packed boxes were still packed. Well, I've unpack 12 boxes and it now looks like my 500 pounder went off in the basement. So, some additional work is needed to find a place for more of my "stuff."

But concurrently, I'm working on winches. Of course the #25 was placed there just to show the scale.

I note your shop has a little evaporation problem (the no 25 has no cap and is empty though sitting on its side).

As for hooks you can get them from harbor fright for cheap also (though some the fit can be a little wonky sometimes).

Okay, I'm determined to build three winch-packs each containing three winches. Two packs will be for the barge and the third for my tower crane.

Very nice clean set-up there!
boy that mill sure is worth its weight in gold, I would have to do all that with a band saw and a drill press. and it would potentially be a big PITA

Looks grea, keep it coming!

Don't be honored, you do do good work.

Me,..... I'm mostly lucky. You should see the holes I've drilled into myself and I can't count how many times I've CA'd myself to my work.
