Can someone give me a list of the best settings for my dx6i. I need to start over. I have a blade 400 with 3 hs65mg servos. I have searched all over and cant find them. Thanks

Do not bother to try copying settings from someone else. Learn what the settings do, which things you need to set, and how to know if they are set correctly. That is... learn to fish, instead of buying a fish and going hungry tomorrow.

In principal I agree with Jasmine. With some research and reading you should be able to figure everything out.

Blade 400 DX6i default settings.

Here's the URL for the Plug N Play Blade 400 PDF file, which contains all the settings for DX6i and DX7. http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo...Manual_Web.pdf

Have fun!

Most likely, you will need to change the Reverse settings for the servos. I have JR 285's on my 400 and had to do that, so don't be surprised if when you set up your 400 with the factory defaults, that your directions for travel may need to be reversed on all but the throttle. Have fun and enjoy.

PS. Looking at the date of the original post, I am sure that it is sorted by now, lol.

Right, and pretty much if you don't live in the Mongolian desert, I would bet there's someone fairly local who can provide help. They might be a noob too, but at least you can work together. Around here we have helicopter training, but I have only ever gotten one phone call about it, although I have run into a lot of people asking for training at the club. I know the hobby shops are selling helis to noobs all the time, and I know the at least one of them could direct them to me or one of the others for training, but there's a disconnect there somehow.

i mostly learned on my own to fly my local fling field is about a half hour drive
so i just got pointers from from people here and there and slowly progressed
i dont fly 3d ...but i do fly a very scale uh1-c huey made from a trex 450 frame
the heli is a beast and i like to say its a very fat lady meaning heavey
but it handles like the real thing and performs like the real thing and thats what im looking for ...i also fly fixed wing aerobats like my yak54 but im a true to life heli pilot

Where do you live where a 30 minute drive is something special? Around here it takes 30 minutes to drive down the block...
