Can trex 250 blade fit a walkera 4g3/4g6 blade grip?

The walkera foam blades have a root thickness of 2.5mm, 2mm hole,
and the distance between the centre of the hole to the edge of
the blade is 4mm.

What are the corresponding measurements for the 250 blade?

Both 4g3 and 4g6 can have their tails stretched easily. My LHS
sells 3mm square carbon tubing that I can use for a 4g6 boom,
and the driveshaft is just a 1.5mm carbon rod.

I'm curious how it'll fly as a 250 sized heli at perhaps 1/3 the weight
of a 250.

carbon fiber 250 blades have a root thickness of 3mm and a 2mm hole. Walkeras grips are a bit loose on the stock blades maybe .25mm so i am sure you could make the plastic or wood blades fit with minimal effort.

Good, next time I need a new boom I'll do a stretched version and
get the trex 250 blade. I imagine 3000rpm headspeed (003 motor
with a 12T pinion) should be plenty for such a light disc loading.

I think it would be too heavy even if it fits. My 250 CF blade is about 8g and plastics or wood is a lot heavier.

The stock blade on my 4#3B is less than 1g, Q blade1.2g, Xtreme 1.8g and home made blade 2.8g... With the heavier blades, cyclic control is like in slow motion using the stock 4#3B flybar and paddles. Bell and Miller mixing on the 4G3/6 may help though.

The integrated gryo in my 2406A and the motor driven tail do not like high main rotor load either. It can go nuts easily on high rotor drag. The gear driven tail on a 4G6 may have a better dynamic range though.

The 250 blade is a lot longer. Watch out for striking onto the tail rotor.

Have fun.

You can get a wood set that is about 5 grams per blade. This wouldnt be to much over the stock 4g6 Walkera at 3.9 -4.2 per blade.

I look forward to seeing how the 4g6 will fly with the larger blades
