I just got the mcx2 today. Its a lot of fun. Just have a few questions.

1. I know when you turn left fast it goes into a death spiral but does that start with it really starting to wobble? And is there any way to fix that?

2. When I go from a hover to full forward it kind of leans to the left. Is that normal?

3. To get it to hover straight without moving, I need like full left aileron trim. Is that normal?

Thanks.

1. Yes the wobble is where it starts. There are things you can do to help but you never get rid of it completely. You can add more power as you are going into the turn or you can add some aileron and kind of put it into a left turn slide. That helps some to.

2. Yes

3. Normal? no. You would need to adjust the linkage on the helicopter and then redo your aileron trim.

Thanks. So I would use a pliers to squeeze or separate the u thing on the linkage, right?

"u thing"? ... it should be a completely enclosed circle.

EDIT

My MCX2 is practically indestructible and it has what driven me deeper into the heli world. I LOVE IT!

I saw links about a metal frame at microheli but they don't show one. Is there another place?

I am using a 200mah battery on mine with a homebrew mount. Gives me lots of power and flying time.

They appear to be out of stock just about everywhere. I found a place that says they have stock but I have never dealt with them before.

No, you turn the servo link head (the plastic part) a number of _full_ turns (no half turns) cw (to shorten) or ccw (to lenghten) it

Thanx for the DX5 expo setting info. When adjusting the servo rods do you guys unhook the rods from the servos and then adjust the connector? Or just leave them attached and turn the connector? Thanx.

Cheers,

Mark

Will the MCX2 swash plate fit on the MCX? I know they're blades and shafts are differnt.
I was also thinking of upgrading motors

As far as I know the blades and the shaft are actually the same. There shouldnt be any issues using the mCX2 swashplate. I believe the mCX2's motors are slightly larger than the mCX's, so you will need the mCX2 Main frame.

I am looking on doing the exact same upgrades on my mCX S300, I have the parts already, I just need to find the time
