Overview
Like the original Blade mCX, the Blade mCX2 is easy enough for anyone to fly and small enough to fly just about anywhere. The mCX2 has the same coaxial, counter-rotating rotor head design as the current mCX, but it adds an extra shot of excitement with user-selectable swash sensitivity and flashing LED lights that are built right into the body. The pilot can change the control settings to enable this heli to perform at higher speeds than the beginner settings. This helicopter also boasts heading-lock like performance for maximum control. It also boasts more powerful motors and a higher capacity 120mAh battery pack. The mCX2 is the ultimate beginner friendly machine with unsurpassed stability, incredible control, and extreme durability.

With a factory-installed 5-in-1 control unit with Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM2 compatible receiver, main motor ESCs, mixer, gyro, and fully-proportional servos come pre-installed. Freedom from frequency restrictions and great control are ensured with the MLP4DSM 4-channel 2.4Ghz Spektrum technology equipped transmitter. The Blade mCX2’s ultra-micro size and weight make it possible to fly this heli anywhere indoors.

It all adds up to more fun than you ever thought possible with a coaxial ultra micro heli, whether you’re a newbie or a pro.

It's now cheaper too.

mCX2

This is what youtube has to say about it:

Blade mCX2 RTF and BNF (1 min 0 sec)

All in all way too much effort for it to just be an April Fool's joke ...

Meh.........same old stuff, just a different color scheme and supposed advanced swash settings, etc..
Now if they really wanted to set the world on fire, they would come out with a "revised" full sized CX2 with optional advanced settings. An updated gyro that would actually work to eliminate yaw and more powerful motors thrown in to the mix and I'd be standing in line!

I wonder how much better this one handles. I hope the blades are stiffer and that it has a longer shaft

Nice advertisement. A $129 coaxial - almost flies like a helicopter. The number of postings in the micro helis forums makes a pretty persuasive argument however, coaxials aren't quite in demand as they used to be. In the interest of fair and full disclosure you might also want to add -

Buy an MSR or CB100 for about the same price and learn what helicopter flying is all about.

You can do just about any manuver with a coax as with a fp heli

Move over Hank, I LOVE my coaxes too! And my little Solo Pro II and my Solo coax.

How many FP's can be flown indoors other than the Solo Pro types?

Hi Durk
Guess that all depends on your skill level and the size of the indoor venue
My workshop/ den is 20x40x10 and have flown slowly mind you, even my CP helis in that area
Take care

OK in a workshop that is as big almost as my house, yes even I could.

How about a 3 bedroom 988 square foot home or apartment?
