Trash at SEFF - every pilot needs to read this

We are changing how we deal with trash at the event this year.

Short Story: You are responsible for your own trash. If you make it....you take care of it.

Mac (property owner / host) owns a large dump truck that will be parked behind the vendor mall. You will be responsible for taking care of your own trash. Take your trash bags to the dump truck and throw into the truck bed. We are not supplying everyone with trash bags....you need to have your own.

The only time there will be trash cans out is for the sponsor dinner and BBQ dinner. There will also be a trash can at Buster's Burgers.

Actually...they will get some work. We were hiring a kid to pull trash out of the barrels and putting it in the dump truck. The Trashmen were more like upper management during the arrangement. The local kid is the one getting layed off and the SEFF Trashmen will have to "get out in the field" and "roll their sleeves up" for the sponsor dinner and BBQ dinner nights.

The Trashmen are much more valuable at installing the flightline and banners. Well...I guess they are not officially the Trashmen then? I guess they are the Three Stooges when they put up the flightline???

Oh....you beat me to this thread....

Sorry you had to find out about "all these changes" in such an impersonal manner. Maybe you could file a greivance with the union office.

Who made the dump body? Hope it is not our competition. May need to throw more than trash on it.

Great, a man experienced with dump trucks! Mac will need someone with your background to empty it every night Thanks in advanced for your service.

I design them, not drive them.

You would not want to claim the design on Mac's dump truck. If you did...you would have to have been born back in about 1929.

I took a ride in that thing over to the "dump" with Mac before. Gas can and lighter and all...

I really thought we were going to take the heel toe express back to the field.
