My 1/32 VIIC

Matt Thor gave me this boat and BigDave the ballast system he designed. Took me awhile to salvage the old 80s kit it was in bad shape. Built her ground up and drilled and filed every hole. Made a lot of scratch parts. My own props. Hatches. All the railings are brass I formed. And I enjoyed every moment of it.

Here's a video of it's first pool tests. It passed with flying colors. No leaks no problems.

The VIIC was always my favorite boat. I couldn't be more happy with her. 7ft. 30 pounds dry. RCABS-R ballast system with a low pressure pump that once on the surface fills the ballast tank to capacity.

I will continue to work on here adding as time goes by. The deck is the original 32nd parallel deck and I had to drill out every slot but it will be replaced soon by a brass one.

Enjoy,

Steve

Steve,
She's a beauty! The tower is gorgeous, too! You did write the BOOK!
I always wanted a 32nd Parallel Sub after I toured the factory in the mid-eighties.

Jim time to put it on the bench and get going. I think one of them you got is built with the old boxes? Those boxes work well as it turns out.

They run smooth and big. Just the way you like them.

This one still has the front and rear tanks and two pumps, running snorkel now and the other has a 3.5 wtc in it .But it also will be snorkeling soon. They are both running now. I have a new T class going to the bench next.
