Well, last day in the UK for ages, decided to get the whole tribe out for a stroll.
and sneak in a wee flight in the process.
I've had so so so much fun with this wing that I just _needed_ to fly it again.
Is it far to go Da?

I could be chasing wabbits if this bam wouldn't keep chucking things off cliffs . . .

SWMBO demonstrating "good form" (at least in the trial launch phase)

Ohh! innit windy (and gusting, and crossed) ???

Like, really windy

Lorraine, pointy bit to the front . . .

Good form ! ;D

Look, if you wanted a new hat, why didn't you say?

Please tell me it's pointed into wind?

She's blown it again, hasn't she?

How hard can it be?

Now, remember, pointy bit forward 8-)

Looks good, and

good launch !

Holey poop this thing is faaaaaaaaast

Now, the _bottom_ was striped across the way?
Doh . . .

Oh good, I can see the top again ;D (seems to be mid cartwheel though)

Not a mark on it Awesome piece of kit

Had a great day out, whole tribe.
I wholeheartedly recommend The St Cyrus hotel for lunch. reasonable prices, superb food, friendly. (if you are ever in Scotland, and if you are, PM me)
We will be back.

Ming, absolutely awesome wing, I had it flying _fast_ today, it's elegant, majestic and just superb to watch.
(and silly fast )

I'm going to buy another to see if I can tape the next one better, what a nice handling, sweet, fun wing.

Thank you.

No thank!
Do you have 48 inch Bee before, what is the difference to fly this two difference size of wings? If you like this Scout Bee, you should like 100 inch Queen Bee too, it fly more elegent and majestic.

I just got my Scout Bee in the mail today.
Really nice job on this one Ming!
The alignment of the parts is far superior to the original Bee and that was already quite good. I imagine you can build this plane stock in an afternoon and come out with a really nice wing. I wish I bought a few more.
A 5 cell AA pack will fit nicely in the nose along with some spare room for lead. Mine's just begging to be built as a fast DSer.

I was ready to pull the trigger until I saw it was the Beevo foil. To bad cause it would have been a very good plane with the original foil.

Erm, Dan, It _IS_ a very good plane.
I have had an absolute blast with it.
the fit and quality of the kit is phenomenal.

Ming is excellent in support.

how can you just shoot it down with that comment? doesn't seem fair to me.
I'm so happy with it, here's a deal for you Dan.
You buy one and build it and fly it.
If you are unhappy with it (in any way at all, I mean _any_ way)
I'll pay for the kit and postage, in full. no questions asked.

My idea is design a slower and easier recover airfoil for combat like Bee and Bee2.
And a thinner airfoil like Beevo and Scout Bee for fly speed and DS.
Keep you order in if you like Windrider able to make a 60 inch wings using original Bee airfoil.

*Please note that the original Bee and Bee2 airfoil with under camber on wing tips.*

I finally was able to maiden my new Scout 60"yesterday in smooth 15 + a little mph. She flew right out of my hands balanced at 10 and 1/8 in.and could probably go back a little more. The wing is the .Pretty darn fast in the average breeze and rock solid on the backside.Ming has done good again! Coreflute hatch in base "live" hinged at the front and fastened with 2 rare earth magnets. (Magnets inside the "lid", steel pickups visible in the battery bay.)
Flew great from first launch after trimming out excessive reflex.
