My T 28d bomb dropping mod

One night i got bored so with some radian wire, tube and a spare servo I created a great dropping rig. For my bomb i used a stress ball with ribbon sewed on. Here are some pics and videos. Sorry to windy to do a real drop while flying:.
heres the vids https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...1#post14693683

I usually dive bomb people and have them pick it up.... I also can pack 4 of those cheap parachute dudes under there and drop them from way up high. If there's a breeze, we call their next of kin... they're totally MIA......

I made it. It's just a normal servo mounted sideways. The plastic tubing is glued right onto the side of the servo, and I bent a piece of piano wire to slide in and out. Not totally my idea. I saw something like it on the internet (here I think). The two horns on the back are my idea.

Originally, that's what I had too. But, I upgraded to the DX6i. The multiple model memory, expo, seperate dual rates, and 6th channel (flaps) were too hard to resist. It's a great radio for $150. Just look out for the ones in the recall series. Some batches had issues. You can find out which on the web.

Nice, I always wanted a dx6i i think ill pick myself up one. If you ever get bored of your warbirds you should try the radian its so relaxing and fast. PZ way over powered the glider with the 480 motor

ps do you think these wheels would work
